late autumn fills our days and nights
rain not snow falls from the sky
cloaked in gray
rarely a sunny day
i dream of summer flowers
and
butterfly wings
a peak of petals

Tammie - you cannot dream of summer. Stop right now! So dry here in CO and no snow in forecast. But - I do love seeing those photos of the summer sunshine in MT.
ReplyDeleteHi Barb!
ReplyDeletewe seem to be having endless gray days....
rain, not snow. two years ago it was white and bright with snow. such a different year we are having. I rarely dream of different weather... but flowers have been on my mind.
xo
We too have had gray and wet for so very long ... not that it's usually any different than that here in Oregon ... but sometimes I dream of spring flowers too!
ReplyDeletePreciosas fotografías, son muy buenas todas tus fotos! Saludos desde Argentina.
ReplyDeleteImpressions are a Souls stamp on a postcard that are addressed Home to Heaven.
ReplyDeleteA beautiful golden cloud shot and then the structure and design in the wood echoing the golden hue. There is beauty in all seasons and in all weathers... even grey has its moments! But you dream of summer flowers and colours and show such lovely images!
ReplyDeleteOur week here has been grey and rainy and then the wind came and blew the clouds away and the blue sky came back again!
that red shot at end was the Money Shot!

Owls and mushrooms are great.
Tammie...you know how much you love to take pictures of ice crystals, snow capped mountains...frozen lakes. You can't do that in summer.

Lovely post Tammie. I to long for summer, which is unusual as normally Autumn and Winter are seasons I revel in. We just did not get the sun this year and your flowers are a reminder that it is still out there somewhere.
