Fern. So beautiful and intricate at every stage of its development. I especially love the lighting in that first capture and all the curls and swirls of those unfolding spirals! So delicately captured!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful Tammie:))
ReplyDeleteThese fern spirals are incredible!!! Tender and touching... How could I know (without your photos) that such beauty exists? Thank you, Tammie!:)
ReplyDeleteSo true - fern floors of the forests are so lovely. Great pics. Any signs of fall out west? My favorite season - doesn't come until November here though.

Beautiful pictures, beautiful branch, very artistic ways! Best regards!
ReplyDeleteLovely photos, Tammie! Ferns seem almost magical to me, and your photos definitely capture that. I especially like the ones where they haven't completely unfurled- the shapes look like some kind of secret elvish calligraphy!
ReplyDeleteDelicate and lovely creatures aren't they?
ReplyDeleteOh, my. We have these fern, too...especially in the forests of my childhood. How beautiful--fills my eyes. Though I have observed them many times--yet you capture something I've never seen.

Such loveliness, Tammie - and so many spirals. There is a book by Dr Manjir Samanta Laughton ('Punk Science') in which she suggests that 'black holes' are all around us, and that this spiralling into existence that we see in plants is part of the black hole phenomenon.
ReplyDeleteOh wow - stunning photos.
ReplyDeleteThanks that you visit our blog!
ReplyDeleteFerns and bracket have their own magical qualities and these are wonderful.
