with a hike in between lakes
that took me deeper into the mountains before i began my hike
climbed high above Grinnell Lake
the gorgeous glacial lake above

Deleteit was such a beautiful four days
the weather was right and i hit the road
since the snow has come to the high mountains, might melt some or all of it
but that was a perfect window to wander and explore
Montucky told me in the comments that the chipmunk looking critter is a Golden-mantled Ground Squirrel. I had never seen or heard of one before.
Wow what a hike and such a beautiful blue lake, you're certainly making the most of these Summer days!

Beautiful scenery and so worth the climb. I love the colourful rocks and that little furry creature - maybe a chipmunk? The colour of the lakes is gorgeous!
