So, so, so beautiful. I love the autumn here in my little southern New England nest. But man-O-man, those mountains of "yours" … spec-freakin'-tacular!
ReplyDeleteI bet it is beautiful in your neck of the woods Rose!
DeleteIt's such a beautiful fall this year - I wonder why that is? Our aspens in Summit County are shouting out their colors - many more oranges this year than I've ever seen before. Is it getting chilly there? I keep thinking we'll soon have snow - I kinda wish it would wait a couple weeks! Those aspens you've shown look like old growth - they're so tall!
ReplyDeletehi Barb,
DeleteHow wonderful that your aspens are shouting out! We did have a very cold 22F 2 or 3 weeks ago with a few more cold nights surrounding. That truly kicked the colors into play. It also killed some leaves on the trees, so they will take time to fall and they will not turn colors. But thank goodness not so cold that all the trees did that. 5 or 6 years ago that happened and it was a sad thing, the trees looked dead and the leaves fell slowly on the pure white snow making it look odd. But this year is a mix and it is so pretty.
Winter can hold off, Autumn has just begun and i love all my seasons..... pretty please ;-)
Beautiful autumn series
ReplyDeleteHave a nice week
the beauty of autumn in all its glory !!
ReplyDeleteOh, Tammie--what a welcome break for my soul, as I am finishing up putting things away and cleaning in preparation for the chimney guys who will be out to begin tearing out the chimney--then will be replacing it. Two weeks! But, OH! How wonderful it will be to have it done. I especially love the Aspen trees...so lovely.

ReplyDeleteHow beautiful! We don't have all of those colors here yet.
ReplyDeleteGreat pictures Tammie. I once saw a fishing documentary on the Flathead River where they were catching cutthroat trout, i'd wager there's plenty in the North Fork.
ReplyDeleteWonderful photos of mother nature, dear Tammie.
ReplyDeleteThank you, I can take a deep breath here.
