last years flowers
look at the tiny little seed holder
a vessel that has endured through sun, wind, rain and snow~
~
tiny little flowers
looked like a grass flower to me
i thought this was a tiny bee, but it is a fly, just two wings
looks like a healthy tree
but covered in wooly aphids, they look healthy too
sweet smelling
wonderful healing
arnica returns
this warm week will deepen springs growth

Yes, the spring is here. Although we will have some cold days, but ... already came !
ReplyDeleteHave a good one, Tammie.
Tomás.
Lovely :-) Have a beautiful day.
ReplyDeleteNice close ups.
ReplyDeleteSpring is healthy then.
Thanks for sharing.
So, so beautiful. Even the wooly aphids.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your gorgeous spring!
Spring certainly is well under way!
ReplyDeleteI can only imagine how rejuvenating it all must be!
ReplyDeleteArnica already - you're so much ahead of us, Tammie. It has been snowing non-stop here. Tomorrow, we'll venture west over the pass and look for sunshine and spring. It must be somewhere! Be on the lookout for the Calypso Orchids! I'm depending on you.
ReplyDeleteIt's good to see the Arnica again! Waiting for it to bloom. Arrowleaf is blooming, so Arnica won't be far behind.
ReplyDeleteI love all these signs of spring waking up and how you have captured each one so respectfully, even the woolly aphids which look as if they're part of the tree, catkin style!
ReplyDeleteLovely pictures Tammie.
ReplyDeleteYour wings are on the American hoverfly, Eupeodes americanus. I knew it was a hoverfly, I looked up the technical details.
So exquisite!
ReplyDeleteWonderful to experience nature waking up again then bursting forth with great energy.
ReplyDeleteEverything needs a place to live!
Thanks for sharing.
Enjoy your week,
Ruby

ReplyDeleteGreetings Crissi
Ahhh, spring is a wonderful time of year :-)
ReplyDeleteI love how you take us up close to notice the details. I never tire of marveling at nature.
ReplyDeleteHow healing it is to the soul!!!
Lovely images of the arrival of spring which could be overlooked without special attention. The patina of the withered and weathered seed vessels is so beautiful.
ReplyDeleteYoko
Lovely shots, Tammie!
ReplyDeleteI like the diptera from syrphidae family, it looks like a male with the eyes stuck together.
The aphids make me laugh, we had some plants in our african garden covered with those aphids.
Great to discover what arnica looks like, fresh!
Keep well!
i like the first flower...the dried flower...it has been through so much & still looks so good! :)
ReplyDeletecute little wooly aphids!!
