deep in the forest
in the shade of the trees
rising from the earthen floor
trilliums sunbathing
sunlight peaks through the trees
to light up individual views
revealing how precious a leaf can be

spring presents more life each day
the warm day inspired a day trip to Flathead Lake, a lake so big that i feel as though i am at the ocean

Every year, I am amazed by how your springtime leaps into action after a long winter. Our Clematis don't bloom for another month or so. I loved seeing yours! And I know that bears love to eat Trillium but I've never seen it before. Beautiful!!!!
ReplyDeletethank you Everyone for your lovely comments. It is great to have you visit!
DeleteKB, I don't think i knew that bears eat trillium, though i have seen them eating flowers a number of times. Also bears always seem to live where trillium grow. thanks for that tidbit of info!
