amongst the hot days
there is water
cooling
cleansing
refreshing
waters
large vistas
to dream into
alpine waters dancing down the mountains
rivers singing
with all their might
lovely forget me nots
reminding us of grace and beauty
new life entering our world
prancing about our meadows
napping in the shade
~
wishing you sweet summer (some of you; winter) days
and
nights

Simply lovely shots and gorgeous refreshing water for these incredibly hot days! The treasure of tiny forget-me-nots and two little fawns with their mother. Such beauty!
ReplyDeleteOh that water looks so delightful - and the wee deer! Always love to see your stunning photos Tammie.
ReplyDeleteSeeing this, you can only say one thing, "beautiful scenery".
ReplyDeleteTomás.
I could look at these pictures all day long. So beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThat mountain is outstanding!
ReplyDeleteSeeing refreshing water is always comfortable. Now, here in Japan we have rainy season. It is a beautiful time, but occasionally they turned into torrential rain in some areas. Love the mom and children deer. Have a good day.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful, soothing, cooling, refreshing post.
ReplyDeleteSorry for your hot weather, but you know exactly where to go, what to do.
(There are those beautiful stones again . . .)
One of these days, I need to come explore your part of the world . . .
You certainly captured the beauty of summer in your area! What beauty you have around you!
Beautiful post!
ReplyDeleteNice day Crissi
Thanks for taking on a journey through the beauty of your world. Living in the flat lands makes your mountain scene even more refreshing ♥
ReplyDeleteGreat shots, and water is so refreshing in the summer. We are by the river now, and I am thrilled.
ReplyDeleteWhat I wouldn't give to dive into your photos...
ReplyDeleteThere are my MT stones! Our waters are singing, too, though we could really use some rain. After the moisture of early spring, I thought I'd never say that! I love your new wild family. Keep cool, Tammie.
ReplyDeleteA gorgeous montage of a mountain early summer. Our creeks and rivers are singing too. I love the fawns and their mom!!!!
ReplyDeleteI wish you the same! (...also..."rivers singing with all their might" is lovely!)
ReplyDeleteThanks for this sweet and refreshing post. I feel like I’m hearing the singing of the flowing waters. When it is very hot, only water (including rain) can soften the heat. During our scorching summer, I can relate to the “cooling cleansing refreshing waters”, when we have evening shower sometimes accompanied with thunder and lightning. How lovely the deer family! The Bambi is sucking. Deer’s childbirth period is from May to late June. In summer there are many fawns with their mothers at Nara Park, too. Stay cool, Tammie.
ReplyDeleteYoko
The beautiful blue-green river is amazing - I can imagine wading in on a scorching day!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your summer....
Happy weekend Tammie,
Ruby
The water looks so refreshing Tammie, especially in the fifth photo. I can almost hear the clear green water gushing along. Such a pretty momma deer photo with her babies. I read you had an enormous thunderstorm a couple of nights ago. We had one too.
ReplyDeleteOh, Tammie, these take my breath away. And those deer -- how you were honored with their presence!
ReplyDeletemagnifiques photos... et le ne m'oublie pas...ma fleur fétiche!
ReplyDeleteOh dear, those deer! Wow! :-)
ReplyDeleteGosh, I continue to be in awe of your landscape and the tiny details. Your last shot of the doe and fawns is priceless. What a paradise you share with us Tammie. Thank you!
