on a breeze
the high mountains
called to me
i felt it in my heart
and in my blood
after a long winter
wandering dirt roads, hiking trails and camping
is essential
the Eastern Rockies are wild and gorgeous
yet tenderness can be found:
photos are the trail to Iceberg Lake
are the Rockies now calling your name?

So gorgeous and soothing soothing views! I like your words too.
ReplyDeleteHave a good day! (*^_^*)
I love the movement created by the clouds and the landscape in that first shot. Yes, tenderness is in the shape of a tiny blue flower nestled in the vastness of a green leaf! It is said that people who live in the mountains have a special deep connection with them.
ReplyDeleteUnbelievable Beauty!
ReplyDeleteActually I do believe. I was once in Montana, very short, but I got this sense of marvelous there. I remember the crisp air and the clear lakes, with the trees and the sky resting in them, and snow topped high mountains, and forests, oh the forests...
I love each and everyone of your photos Tammie! :-)
What a beauty!! This is a fantastic landscape and your shots are great. O yes, indeed I know mountains they call and called my name. As a passionate alpin climber they know me :)!!! But I've never been in Montana and I should.
ReplyDeleteHave happy happy time

ReplyDeleteI thought that looked familiar - Iceberg Lake is one of my favorites places ever. We were hoping to go back to Glacier this summer, but now may not be able to. gorgeous photos!
ReplyDeleteSo beautiful, makes me want to go on a journey into the mountains!
ReplyDeleteOh such wild beauty and that little tender flower, so fragile and beautiful! Thanks so much for sharing with us Tammie! It reminds me of our mountain holiday and that wonderful freshness and mountain air, such peace!

ReplyDeleteWishing you a happy weekend, Tammie. x
I’m fascinated with the grandeur of the Rockies as well as the tenderness of the palm of the leaf softly holding the blue flower.
