Many Glacier, Montana

on a breeze
the high mountains
called to me

i felt it in my heart
and in my blood

after a long winter
wandering dirt roads, hiking trails and camping
is essential

the Eastern Rockies are wild and gorgeous
yet tenderness can be found:

photos are the trail to Iceberg Lake

are the Rockies now calling your name?

  12. I love the movement created by the clouds and the landscape in that first shot. Yes, tenderness is in the shape of a tiny blue flower nestled in the vastness of a green leaf! It is said that people who live in the mountains have a special deep connection with them.

  13. Unbelievable Beauty!
Actually I do believe. I was once in Montana, very short, but I got this sense of marvelous there. I remember the crisp air and the clear lakes, with the trees and the sky resting in them, and snow topped high mountains, and forests, oh the forests...
I love each and everyone of your photos Tammie! :-)

  25. I’m fascinated with the grandeur of the Rockies as well as the tenderness of the palm of the leaf softly holding the blue flower.
