  19. Oh yes this is exactly how I imagined your world to start changing around now, I love the Autumn colours. It's still very green in my part of the world, but even here the colours will change slowly as some trees turn yellow, I love this golden time, magical!

  21. Oooh! I've never seen your little corner of the world looking so yellow! It looks like summer is over and you're heading for winter, since I get the impression autumn and spring are more brief transition periods than complete seasons! I hope all is well. I have been working very hard - the final five days of my course are here and I have just one more challenge ahead of me...!

  22. When I saw the small thumbnail on my blogger feed I gasped. Those aspen are like wee golden bits hanging from the loveliest of trees. Simply breathtaking in every way. Oh, what a lovely season you are beginning to experience.

  25. Hi, again! How beautiful! The yellow leaves I’ve seen in person are ginkgo and birches, never aspens. I imagine these aspens would be at their best now. I like your words "green embrace"; the puffballs look resting protected by the greens gently and affectionately.

    1. Hi Erika,
You are right, I live in the NW corner of Montana, not far from GNP. These photos were taken there on a smoky day due to wildfires we have had this summer.
Thank you for your kind message.
