Eartly Morning Forest Wander

before the sun revealed the blue of sky
in the early morning light

 which barely kissed her world
she pulled on tall wool socks
bundled in cashmere, mittens and hat

wandered into the woods
frost transformed the trees
into nearly glowing beings

tracks revealed
night time wanderers
in winter wonderland

winter has been mild in the NW corner of Montana
until last week
when we woke to a foot of new snow

winter if feeling quite sincere now

  1. Such wonderful frosty shots and sweet snowflakes. The cabin looks so lovely with all that snow and surrounded by tall evergreens! I would love the silence there!

    1. Thank you for enjoying Sandra. I do enjoy those tiny snow stars. I love the silence that happens here, allows for hearing wildlife occasionally as well.

    1. Yes, it feels so much like fairy tale living. A mix of magic and also the dark wild ways.

  3. Dear Tammie - You captured the glowing frost so nice with such a low light before the dawn. They represent serenity. You seem to live with winter nymphs in a fairy tale world. Stay warm.
