Hey! I don't like a mouse near my food!

Beautiful shots!
ReplyDeleteThank you William.
DeleteFantastic! The picture with the Nuthatch and Mouse was a surprise!! We have Nuthatches here in Scotland, but they are a little different from your one.
ReplyDeleteYes, it was a surprise for the birds too. They tangibly did not like it there. We have a few different nuthatches too. They seem to be the dominant birds that are taking seed from my hand, the chickadees make way for them. So interesting to witness.
DeleteTammie, what fabulous shots of all these little forest friends! The brave little Nuthatch. Then a chickadee and the tiny mouse is too adorable! How beautifully you've captured all these sweet creatures! The lavender and pink sunset is simply breathtaking! You are surrounded by beauty!
ReplyDeleteThank you for enjoying the critter photos. I am having so much fun with them.
DeleteThat sunset won my heart too.
The photo of the bird and the mouse on the hand ... is wonderful!
ReplyDeleteHave a good one, Tammie
Tomás.
Thank you for enjoying that.
DeleteThese photos are such treasures. I would be in total awe that this could happen. What a gift you were given this day.
ReplyDeleteI am in awe. I had no idea that they would follow me as I walk through the woods. So surprising and delightful.
DeleteThat first bird is so adorable. I never know the names of birds but I've always enjoyed seeing them. These are wonderful shots.
ReplyDeleteHave a lovely day.
Hi Lissa,
DeleteIt has taken me so long to know one bird from another and their names and sounds. Feeding them from my hand has taught me even more about them. So much fun.
They use to all look the same to me (kind of).
Lovely day and beyond to you!
That is absolutely magical!!! I loved seeing those photos. I have yet to have a wild bird (or mouse!!!) eat from my hands!
ReplyDeleteThank you Rain. I have tried before, this is the first time that it worked. So much fun.
DeleteYou are an animal and a bird whisperer. I think they sense your gentle soul and are unafraid of you.
ReplyDeleteIt really is fun interacting with them daily. It has upped my knowledge about them. They all have personalities and some are certainly respected, or allowed to have seed first. There is one with only two tail feathers, I wonder what happened to it? It lands on my head and shoulders, anywhere. Others not so much.
DeletePS Did you use your camera or phone for these shots, Tammie? Spectacular!
ReplyDeleteI don’t have a smart phone. I bought a new camera. Not sure if I am keeping it yet. Though it has done a good job of these bird photos. It came on the market in 2014, so not a new model (but a new camera)
DeletePanasonic Lumix DMC-FZ1000 I still have lots to learn about using this camera, some photos i am not happy with. Such as macros, though it might be me.
Thank you for enjoying.
Wow - your photos are full of miracles and beauty!
ReplyDeleteIt is a nice story to see that friendly bird!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful sunset!
Have a good day.Tamie.
What a wonderful picture of the nuthatch and the mouse on your hand. Incredible that they would be there together! You have a way with the critters!
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, I was loving these photos of the sweet little bird eating sunflower seeds right from your hand, until I saw the mouse, Eeeeeek! You know, I have a dreadful fear of mice, even small ones like this. That sunset is one of the prettiest I've ever seen, Tammie Lee.
ReplyDeleteWishing you sweet September days.
~Sheri
What sweet magic!
ReplyDeleteAnd the nuthatch holds special meaning for me.
This is so special.

We are moving house today and I am so glad I took a few minutes to stop by here for a bit of calm :)
ReplyDeleteSuch sweet photos, and that is a wee mouse, feels like he fell out of a book. The purple sunset is gorgeous. Thanks, Tammie :)
