ghosts of the forest
an intimate glimpse or two:
rare to see their insides as they are often facing down:
lovely petals of soft light:
translucent beings that rise from the forest floor:
in relationship with the wonderful trees
more than with the sun

They are really beautiful❤
ReplyDeletethank you for enjoying them.
DeleteWhat amazing and unusual plants. In the first photo. they really do look like pipes! My favourite images are the first one, the third (with those colourful and intricate centres)and the fifth one showing off the beautiful translucency.
ReplyDeleteThey are unusual, even their relationship with the world is different from most plants.
DeleteThank you for sharing the photos you like, it is fun to look at them anew.
I've never seen those little pipes in the forest and I just love them! Gorgeous shot and it's wonderful to see you posting again. I hope you've been well.
ReplyDeleteThank you for your kind visit.
DeleteOtherworldly ... and beautiful. So glad to see the world through your eyes again.

Thank you for letting me know that you enjoy what I share.
Elles me tiennent tant à coeur.

Thank you for enjoying them Hilly.
DeleteWhat an amazing plant. I have never seen anything like them. The closest we have here in Scotland is Toothwort, Lathraea squamaria, which is a parasitic plant.
ReplyDeleteI will look up the plant you mention, always interesting to learn new plants.
