mystical in your subtle colors
sky and land
soft blues
grays
whites
expand
trees laden in fluffy snow
heart quiets
to meet a calmness
quite grand
winter solstice has arrived
light more light
in the land

your breath
your body

your rhythms
and stance
your colors
that enhance
my life

it is the vigor born with exchange of our breath
that draws me near

your vast wild ways
and
 intricate beauty 

inspire me 

to hold your hand
letting the edges of my being 

meld with yours

we are contained
within a vessel that we call body
and so our spirits energy is quite tangible
a strong presence to get to know

without a body
it might be more obvious
that we are connected
completely blended
dancing
like mist
to all energy
all life
imagine that

perhaps it is our vessel that fools us
for a moment
or a lifetime
into thinking
we are separate
