My, what a collection of beauty! The landscape, your rocks set caught in icy setting, the red rock with it's delicious setting of bubbly ice and all those reflected mammaries hanging down and the little ones below catching their nourishment. I love your winter.
All my favorite MT sights in one post - mountains, lakes, snowy landscapes, ice, and those magical rocks! We just returned to the mountains from Denver. I'll E-mail you soon.
Your first and last images are breathtaking! And about those colourful rocks again! ... I might just have to head to Montana and bring a few home for my garden!

Such beauty in these images and each one so wonderfully framed to create curves and balance! I do really love "a window to a red rock gem"! Each of these images makes me want to linger and enjoy and then start again!
Beautiful in poetry and imagery, as always, Tammie! I love how you see and share the vastness of your landscapes and the minute details . . . there is stunning poetry in both. Your eye is poetry too. Are the ice and stone photos taken by your stream . . . near your home? and the majestic mountains? I am taken with the reflection and that thin veil of mist just above the water and the sky!
all these images were taken at Lake McDonald in Glacier National Park. It is an hour drive from my cabin to there. So worth the drive. We went out to brunch at a place near there and then played on the lake shore. There are many places with these colorful rocks. Creeks and rivers have them, but not everywhere.
Nice! Cloudy weather is a good time to take pictures in my book :-) The first one is a beauty in its simplicity...like it! The second one and the last one are also getting thumbs up from me :-) Rune
How blissful..such magnificent images..your photos are always so epic and full of storytelling..you are nature's poetic voice! that first one..I could picture poster-size on a wall so meditative! and love the little ice window..and everything you captured..beautiful! Thanks so much for shining your magic! Victoria
