the day was shades of

blue and gray

along the shore

found icy treasures

 

artful sculptures

 

a window to a red rock gem

 

air bubbles 

held in the embrace of ice

just enough light

for reflection

Snowflakes, Very Tiny

lovely snowflakes just for you

oh so tiny

crystalline beauty

if you are wondering

this green is my firewood carrier made of canvas cloth

today it is snowing
fine sugar falling through the sky
not crystalline stars like the ones from yesterday

Kokanee Salmon

in the clear creek

they swam

upstream

their colors a sight to behold

the ritual of

spawning

in deeper waters; an unedited artful image:

 

it was such a thrill to get to see them!

Numinous Presence

clouds

like a halo

hovering at mountain peaks

inviting us to journey the snowy road

numinous in every respect

I woke up
it was a frosty morning
and the first thing that i saw
was ice dressed in rainbows
my heart began to thaw
I thought I was heading to yoga
but smitten my path did change
kneeling to enjoy a sparkling ballet
morning light
and
golden grass
did reign

 like a dream
life dances in holy waters
reflections and ripples
of light
of color
travel to the edges of the pond
and beyond
