autumn arrived 4 weeks early
which is wonderful to have that crisp air, warm days and cold nights last longer
the colors, the light, the sky have been glorious
Mushrooms galore have fruited above the surface of the earth
making walks feel like Easter hunts
often it is the details of mushrooms that win my heart
(hollowfoot suillus)
the sky has been showing off, amazing day dream shows
a bend in the river highlights golds framed beautifully

wishing you a lovely autumn

Breathtaking! So beautiful -- happy autumn to you, MizTlee!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much!
DeleteWonderful early autumn colours where you live.
ReplyDeleteYou are way ahead of us, but what beauty in all your shots. I love the golden detail of the mushroom. Your skies and reflections are dreamy. The colour of the leaves is gorgeou. I wonder if an early autumn means a long winter or if an early spring may grace your region?
I sometimes wonder about the seasons also and what they mean to the next. I watch the animals and note that they are doing things in the same timing as the years before. Last autumn was cut short due to deep cold and early snow. So we are all so thankful for this longer autumn. The nights are deeply cold now, so colors are fading swiftly.
DeleteDear Tammie - Wonderful shots of beautiful landscape and captivating things around you. As a refection-lover, my favorite is #5 image. One month early autumn!? In my part of the world, I had thought autumn came unusually early with the start of September, but season has gotten back to summer these weeks. Enjoy your season.

Fun that you love reflections, they are dreamy to witness.
DeleteOur autumn is quite serious, there is no going back to summer for us.
Thank you for enjoying.
Hi Tammie!! You take such lovely photos. I LOVE the photos of the mountains, they are glorious!!! A happy autumn to you too! It's lovely here as well, though a little on the cold side in the early mornings when I walk the pups...I could easily have worn snow pants this morning!!! :)
ReplyDeleteHi Rain,
DeleteThank you for enjoying. The Rocky mountains are a sight to behold and wonderful to walk in. I am glad it is lovely where you are also. It is cold here too in the mornings. Low 20'sF. Burrrrr. And only 55F for the high.
You must live in a beautiful part of Montana! Thanks for your comments on my blog. Great scenery!
ReplyDeleteYes, it is beautiful here.
DeleteThose mountain views are breathtaking.
ReplyDeleteSo glad you enjoyed them!
DeleteHow beautiful it is there with you Tammie!
ReplyDeleteEnjoyed the beautiful images.

ReplyDeleteWhy thank you, so much Jeanie.
DeleteAutumn is sure showing its beauty in your area, Tammie Lee. I love that photo of the lake with the clouds, it's an incredible
ReplyDeleteview. It's Autumn here in the mountains also, and it has been nice to see every season since I moved here.
I hope October days are good to you.

Yes, we have had a gorgeous autumn. I loved every day. Today is cloudy with possible rain.... different from the sunny days.
DeleteWood stove is going.
I am so happy that you are enjoying the seasons in your new home.
These are lovely, so peaceful. Sadly, I'm not there to take a walk.
ReplyDeleteWinter is coming, autumn seems to have sort of skipped over somehow, it's been a bit cold but that's probably I'm not used to the change in weather.
Have a lovely day.
Some autumns are like that, they disappear swiftly.
DeleteIt can take a while to adjust to weathers changes.
Merry Christmas. And, Happy New Year.
ReplyDeleteI wish You all the best.
Greeting and hug.
