Hi Eve, That image was actually taken with a little point and shoot camera. A Pentax Optio that has an extra macro ability. Though these days I am using a nikon 105 macro lens.
and Ms. Suzie: I often think of tiny cakes that are elegantly frosted when I look at my poppy images!
I was thinking miniature (tiny tiny!) 7 layer Doberge (pronounced Do-bazh in New Orleans) cake tucked in a purple pom, set upon a bed of roasted red bell peppers.
Definitely better to see the image as a whole, without my twisted associations.
