Sunrise and Beyond

the sun began to light up the world

as the clouds shifted and danced in the sky

we walked a forested path

that brought us to this pristine vista

our day overflowed with immense beauty

with theater in the sky

Jewels of Rain and More

 the joys of spring are amongst us

a few precious Fairy Slippers thrive upon the forest floor

raindrops capture setting sun light

forest mushroom choose a tree stump for their home

dandelions cloak the earth

precious orchids give me delight

entering a meadow

one never knows whom they will find

Glimpses of Summer

walking in the forest

(i had never seen a delphinium in the above colors)

tiny, unripe huckleberry

and so it begins.....

fruit

large beaver enjoys a swim

 

who will this spiral become?

 

rains dress our world in gems and light

For Me, Trees are Majesty

walking amongst the winter trees

where snow does land upon their limbs

and fog drifts amongst them

at times
the sun comes out to shine

winter's breath is then alive

crystalline wings

fragile beauty

 bathed in morning light

a cold night brings on

this temporal life

Frosty Beauties

morning light

reveals

our mundane world 

overflows with magical life

frost it grows

in endless expression

texture color

light

ice that grows over night

 temporal magnificence

my heart will never be the same

 your presence has changed me

heaven above

 stars they dance for our eyes at night

invisible as daylight glows

lake surface satin smooth

visual grace

a sensual show

igniting our hearts 

while soothing our souls
